We’re hugely excited to announce that Adam Kay – author of the multi-million bestseller This Is Going To Hurt – is generously providing funding for one talented Black writer to join our Three-Month Online Novel-Writing Course with Suzannah Dunn. This popular course features direct input from our literary agent team and top publishers. The course will run from 7 September – 14 December 2020, and is designed to enable people to take part from anywhere in the world – in any time zone, and at hours of the day or night that work best for the individual participant.
The Curtis Brown Creative team consider that we have a responsibility to promote diversity in our student groups and to reach out to talented writers who face barriers to entry when it comes to gaining professional training and furthering their writing careers. We are grateful to Adam Kay for providing the full fee for a Black writer to join our online course.
An announcement will be made soon concerning further writing opportunities with Curtis Brown Creative to happen this Autumn.
