Ella Gordon

by admin

Ella Gordon is a senior commissioning editor at Wildfire Books, where she has worked since the imprint was set up in 2016; before that, she was a bookseller at Waterstones. Ella publishes agenda-setting, often issue-led narrative non-fiction, as well as fiction with an edge – whether it be exciting, experimental literary fiction or upmarket commercial novels with something interesting to say. Her list is broad and diverse; recent and upcoming highlights include White Ivy by Susie Yang, An Olive Grove Ends by Moses McKenzie and Mother Mother by Annie Macmanus on the fiction side, The Mind of a Murderer by Dr Richard Taylor and Down and Out by Daniel Lavelle on the non-fiction side. Next year she will also publish Long Island Compromise, Taffy Brodesser-Akner’s hotly anticipated follow-up to Women’s Prize longlisted Fleishman in in Trouble.
