Nicholas Blincoe
Nicholas Blincoe is the author of six novels, two histories of the Middle East and the editor of two collections. He is the winner of the Crime Writers Silver Dagger, a recipient of the Samuel Beckett Award, and the iFeatures film award. He has worked in British publishing for 27 years as a senior editor at Hodder & Stoughton, a lead reviewer at the Guardian and Observer, and the books columnist for The Telegraph. He has taught at Ravensbourne and City universities, and worked as a guest lecturer across Europe. In addition, he has worked as a scriptwriter in films and television, including the BBC’s hit series, Waking the Dead. He has leant his experience to the Curtis Brown Creative courses over the past five years, while pursuing his varied, multidisciplinary career as a writer.
