Non-Fiction Proposal Report
Refine your non-fiction proposal and get ready to submit to agents with guidance from an expert editor.
Get helpful feedback on your book summary, chapter outline and opening 8,000 words.
We’ll match you with an expert non-fiction editor who will draw on their professional experience to provide incisive feedback on your non-fiction project. They'll consider how the complete proposal is working as a whole, and look at each of the key elements: the summary of your project (to include your overview, author bio, list of comparable titles and marketing plan – totalling up to 2,000 words), your sample of writing (up to 8,000 words) and your chapter outline or breakdown (up to 2,000 words). The editor will approach your proposal from an industry perspective, providing practical tips and publishing insights that will help you to distil the essence and USP of your non-fiction project and communicate this with clarity and confidence to agents and publishers.
Our report provides at least 1,000 words of detailed advice. You’ll get approximately 500 words of feedback on your summary and chapter outline, and approximately 500 words on the sample chapters.
