Lucie Brownlee
Dr Lucie Brownlee is a multi-award-winning writer and an experienced tutor and mentor. Her memoir LIFE AFTER YOU is published by Penguin Random House. Based on her award-winning blog WIFE AFTER DEATH, it is a Sunday Times best seller and a Richard and Judy Book Club pick. She is currently working on a sequel to LIFE AFTER YOU, entitled MEANWHILE, ME.
She also writes for TV - her pilot WIFE AFTER DEATH won Best New Comedy Script in the All3Media New Voice Awards and was developed by Channel 4. US AFTER DAVE – a loose adaptation of her memoir – is currently on submission with broadcasters. Her comedy pilot GEORDIE SHAWS is a Female Pilot Club finalist.
She holds a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing and has taught Creative Writing for over 14 years, including at Newcastle and Leeds Universities and online for Faber Academy.
