Vanessa Gebbie
Vanessa Gebbie is a multi-award-winning writer: novelist, short fiction writer, poet, teacher and editor. She has curated two guidebooks for writers.
She is a freelance creative writing tutor and mentor. She has run courses for The Arvon Foundation, Gladstone’s Library, Bloomsbury, Curtis Brown Creative and many others. Her writing has been used in iGCSE papers, is on the curriculum in the USA, has been commissioned by BBC Radio, for anthologies, and is translated into several languages.
She has been a Hawthornden Castle Fellow, Writer in Residence at Gladstone’s Library and Petersfield Museum, and her work has been supported by The Arts Council and Anam Cara Writers and Artists’ Retreat in Ireland.
